Behaving
Naturally specialises in natural horsemanship lessons and courses
that are run throughout the year for both the beginner and advanced
rider, children to adults.
A
key feature of natural horsemanship is learning how to interpret a
horse's body language. Horsemanship lessons include connecting with
the horses mind and body on the ground before progressing this communication
through to riding.
Instructor
Kim Woods grew up in the South Island, riding ponies, attending pony
club and competing in eventing. Full time study in Hawkes Bay saw
Kim acheive an Advanced Diploma in Applied Science with a major in
Equine Studies. During this time she also gave riding lessons, trimmed
hooves, handled Thoroughbred foals, solved float loading problems,
assisted breaking in race horses and gave pony rides at play centres
and parties.
This
background now enables Kim to offer her experience and knowledge to
both children and adults of all levels though lessons at her purpose
built facility in West Melton, Christchurch.
Please
take a look through the website and contact Kim today if you are interested
in finding out more about horsemanship or booking a lesson.
